Santas Grotto at The Grand Pier
Come and see Santa in his magical grotto at the end of the Grand Pier this Christmas! Santa and his helpers will be landing in their winter wonderland on Saturday 2nd December!
They will stay there until Christmas Eve, when they must leave to make sure all the Christmas presents are delivered on time!
Follow the snowy footprints as you enter the Grand Pier, to guide you to the winter wonderland, with its moving penguins and polar bears. You will be transported down an enchanted path to Santa’s very own grotto. Santa’s reindeer and his elves will be on hand to make sure you don’t get lost!
Santa’s grotto will be open from 11am on selected dates and admission is £5.00 with each child receiving a wrapped gift.
Please Note: Santa’s Grotto will be closed between 1.30pm and 2.30pm on Sunday 17th December for Supper with Santa

FREE Winter Gardens History Talk and Tour

Star Wars – The Last Jedi
Die-hard fans will be among the first to revisit a galaxy far, far away at just after midnight on December 14, when The Last Jedi is finally released.
And to get people into the mood, the first film produced by Disney since it bought the franchise, The Force Awakens, will be shown first. The Force Awakens, which will start at 9pm on December 13, is set 30 years after the death of the Emperor and the destruction of the second Death Star.

Play Electronic Bingo at Luda
A new bingo café Luda opened last month offering a ‘different and more accessible’ option for over 18’s in Oxford Street. Currently it features a range of slot machines and retro arcade games such as Street Fighter, Space Invaders – these are the original gaming machines!
Regular bingo games playable via tablet and live results are displayed on a huge screen. There are pently of tables and large comfy sofas and the cafe prices are very reasonable, one of the cheapest venues in the town centre.
